A New Approach to Hot Stones - Day 2 Instructor: Amy Scottino, LMT, MTI, CEP Instructor: Christina Hughes, LMT, MTI, CEP Course: 6 CE hours Location: Emerald Bodywork Education Facility 3700 W. 15th Street, 300D, Plano, TX 75075 Date: January 30, 2024 Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuition: Day 2 $175 (*electric hot stone kits can be purchased for this class) Description: Join us to explore the therapeutic benefits of basalt stones! Day one, day two or both! This course will navigate the basics of hot stone massage including benefits, contraindications, set up, clean up and how to use stones during massage therapy. We will also venture into a more therapeutic approach to hot stone massage. Learning hot stone massage will help you build your clientele but it will also extend the lifetime of your career by saving your hands from overuse. Both days include demonstrations and hands on, peer to peer practice. Day Two: We begin to navigate simultaneous hot stone application to posterior and anterior aspects to create a whole body head to toe connection. In these two days you will experience and learn a full body therapeutic approach to hot stone therapy that your clients have yet to imagine! Supplies to Bring: Sheet set, oil of choice, 2 hand towels, 1 bath towel. *Electric, waterless, hot stone sets can be purchased through us, prior to class from $110 **Only electric, waterless hot stone sets will be allowed in the teaching space.
