Collins Blvd #201, Richardson, TX 75080 Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm Tuition: $300 (includes Kelly Lott's migraine miracle kit) NCBTMB approved Course (6 CE Hours) Course Description Kelly Lott’s Migraine Miracle is a specialized continuing education course designed to help massage therapists better understand headaches and migraines and confidently apply supportive massage techniques in their practice. This course introduces the foundational concepts of headaches, common causes, migraine stages, and triggers, while emphasizing non-invasive, relaxation-based approaches to headache relief. Participants will explore the role of aromatherapy, learn how to communicate effectively with clients about this modality, and observe a live demonstration of the Migraine Miracle protocol. Through guided practice and consultation, therapists will gain hands- on experience and practical tools to integrate this modality into massage sessions, support client comfort, and ethically market migraine-focused services. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: Describe common types of headaches and basic migraine patterns Identify common causes and triggers associated with headaches and migraines Explain the four stages of migraines and how symptoms may present in clients relaxation-based massage techniques intended to reduce headache- related tension and support nervous system calming Incorporate basic aromatherapy considerations for headache and migraine support Demonstrate effective client communication when discussing migraine-focused massage services Perform the Migraine Miracle modality with appropriate consultation and client- centered care Integrate this modality into massage sessions or offer it as a focused service Valerie Karpiel, LMT, MTI, CEP Valerie knows there is no single approach that works for everyone, so she continues to educate herself on therapies that benefit her clientele. She has received her Massage Therapy Instructor License and Continuing Education Provider License for the state of Texas. During Wyoming’s off seasons, she travels back to Texas to not only educate therapists but to see her loyal Texas clients.
