Honoring Her Body: A Whole-Body Approach to Women’s Wellness Massage Course Description Instructor: Amy Scottino, LMT, MTI, CEP Location: Handcrafted Therapy Training Center 2095 N. Collins Blvd #201, Richardson, TX 75080 Date: September 1, 2026 Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm - 6CE hrs Tuition: $175.00 NCBTMB approval pending This continuing education course is designed to support massage therapists in working skillfully and compassionately with women’s bodies across all stages of life. Women often experience a wide range of physical, emotional, and hormonal changes that impact the musculoskeletal system, nervous system, and overall sense of wellbeing. This class offers a thoughtful, whole-body approach to women’s wellness massage that honors these complexities without pathologizing the body or isolating symptoms. Through a blend of lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice, participants will explore how therapeutic touch can support common patterns of tension, discomfort, and stress unique to women’s lived experiences. Emphasis is placed on listening to the body, adapting techniques to individual needs, and fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported, informed, and empowered. This course is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions, but rather to expand the massage therapist’s ability to provide ethical, informed, and client-centered care that complements a woman’s overall wellness journey. Supplies to bring: pen/pencil for notes, sheets set, blanket if you get cold, bath towel, lubricant of choice
